I hope you are all having a happy new year. This message is to remind you of our upcoming COC on January 25 at Michigan State University. The meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. and will be held in Room 175 of Brody Hall, 241 West Brody Rd, East Lansing, MI 48825. Parking may be found across the street in the parking structure of the Kellogg Center, 219 S. Harrison. The COC will start at 10:00 am.
On the Friday, January 24, before the COC, there will be fellowship out at Camp Kiwanis with overnight accommodations in Dart and Sparrow cabins. Camp Kiwanis is at 676 W Dansville Rd, Mason, MI 48854, and only a few minutes away from MSU. There will be a continental breakfast at Camp Kiwanis on Saturday morning.
After the COC, we will have lunch in the Brody cafeteria, one of the largest in the world. The cafeteria offers a variety of different food choices, from Asian and pasta, to Mexican and pizza. The cost of the lunch is about $9.00. At approximately 1:30 p.m. (or earlier), we will be having training sessions as requested by the lodges. There will be three sessions, one on the new Brotherhood ceremony, one on giving presentations, and the other for chapter officers on having the BEST chapter meeting ever! It is strongly encouraged that the lodges bring their chapter chiefs/officers and ceremony team members to this training. If they do not wish to attend the COC, they can just be at Brody Hall by 1:00 p.m. for the training (or lunch if they want). Attendees who complete the training will receive a special patch.
Please RSVP to Mr. Reisdorph by Monday, January 20th if possible so we can plan for accommodations and Saturday breakfast. As always, if you need anything, just ask.
Yours in Brotherhood,
Section C-2 Secretary
